If your kitchen has an uneven wall surface, upstands are also excellent accessories for disguising any gaps created. These oak laminate worktop upstands are made using the same techniques as our laminate work surfaces. First, the FSC-approved composite fibreboard core is wrapped in an oak-effect sheet and a clear laminate overlay; then, to create a secure and stable surface, these elements are bonded and sealed with high heat and pressure.
